Archbishop Michael Miller had presented to 6 people in the archdiocese of Vancouver and now came to Glenwood Centre to present it to Fr. Joe. We see here the kindness of the Archbishop as he present the medal. The medal depicts the Apostles Saint Peter and Saint Paul in the centre of the cross. The inscription “Pro Ecclesia” is on the left arm, “Et Pontifice” on the right. The decoration’s ribbon shows is yellow and white: the colors of the Papacy.
Fr. Joe Soria Receives Papal Medal from Archbishop Michael Miller
On October 28, 2020, Fr. Joe Soria received the medal Pro Ecclesia et Pontifice, established by Pope Leo XIII in 1888, to commemorate his golden sacerdotal jubilee.
